Next Pour in the Pomegranate juice

Lastly topping it off with Prosecco or Sparkling wine and stir.

Serve in a Champagne Glass  with a lightly sugared rim.

Strawberry Raspberry Spiked Lemonade

So the other day I noticed a big box at my front door and what had been delivered to me was a great big box of a variety of the new Seagram Wine Coolers. So I quickly placed them in the refrigerator and a couple days had passed and I noticed these after a hard days work and that's when I started to create. I like this idea of only having half of the wine cooler and stretching it out because its not as many calories this way.

Strawberry Raspberry Spiked Lemonade Ingredients
4 ounces Strawberry Lemonade
4 ounces Seagram Raspberry Wine Coolers
4 ounces of Ice
Strawberries optional  for decoration

Poor 4 ounces of Strawberry Lemonade in to a Glass half full of ice.
Poor 4 ounces of Seagram Raspberry Wine Coolers
Stir and serve, makes 1 cocktail.

Enjoy

A Grey Hound at Sunset

A Grey Hound at Sunset. So as you know a week ago Wednesday I made a great Grapefruit Margarita. It was so yummy and tasty. I had to think of another way to use it. So Sunday here in Sunny Southern California it was raining and when I say Raining it was coming down like cats and dogs as people say.  I wanted a ray of sunshine so badly that I thought I will make a drink that reminds me of the Sun and that’s where the Grapefruit Margarita mix comes in hand. I like to make a mix then use it as many ways as possible.

A Grey Hound at Sunset Ingredients:
1 Shot of Gluten Free Vodka
1 Shot of Cranberry Pomegranate juice
1 Large glass of Ice.

Take a large glass and fill with ice about 3/4 full.
Next Add One Shot of Vodka

6 ounces of grapefruit juice which is 3 shots to be exact.

1 Shot of Cranberry Pomegranate
Do NOT stir just serve.

Bon Appetire and Cheers

Traditional Margaritas

Some of you might know that I live in Los Angeles and one of my favorite restaurants to go to is Casa Vega. It’s fun it’s fabulous and I love to go there to run into friends. Plus the owners of Casa Vega have a son that  happen to go to our daughters school. So we try to support the local businesses in our neighborhood and community. I just love a good Margarita and when I have a bad day I always try to make lemons into lemonade or go have a Margarita.

Serves 16 (8 oz drinks)

Traditional Margarita Ingredients:
4 cups lemon lime juice
3 1/2 cups sugar
8 cups water
4 cups ice
1/2 shot triple sec
1 shot tequila

Juice about 25 to 30 lemon/limes and set aside.

Take sugar and water and bring to a boil

Take lemon juice and ice place in large picture

Next add boiling water mixture and stir.

Last add 1/2 shot triple second and  1 shot tequila to 8oz of Margarita mix made above.

Blend in blender or serve on the rocks.

This serves about 16-20 (8 oz Margaritas) You could make it stretch if you stretch if you blend and add ice. Or poor over a full glass of ice. But don't forget you mix one at a time so if you were making premixed you would add the 16 shots of tequila and 8 shots of triple sec. Also if you want a strawberry or raspberry margarita add a handful of berries to the blender while blending.

Enjoy and Bon Appetite

Grapefruit Margaritas

So with Super Bowl; XLV coming quickly I thought I better start posting some drink options for my viewers. I am going to give you a recipe for Grapefruit Margarita and in a separate post tomorrow for Traditional Lemon Lime Margarita today. This is simple and easy and you can even serve without the alcohol over ice and they are fabulous.

 Grapefruit Margaritas Ingredients:
4 cups Grapefruit juice
4 cups sugar
8 cups water
4 cups ice
1/2 shot triple sec
1 shot tequila

Juice about 8 to 10 Grapefruits and set aside.

Take sugar and water and bring to a boil

Next you will see the edges start to bubble stir constantly.

Until you have a rapid boil like this.

Take Grapefruit juice place in large picture.

and ice to Grapefruit juice.

Next add boiling water mixture and stir.

Last add 1/2 shot triple sec and 1 shot tequila per 8 oz glass of Margarita mix, either serve on the rocks or blended in blender. Garnish with a lemon or lime.

This serves about 16-20 (8 oz Margaritas) You could make it stretch if you stretch if you blend and add ice. Or poor over a full glass of ice. But don't forget you mix one at a time so if you were making premixed you would add the 16 shots of tequilla and 8 shots of tripple sec.

Salud and Bon Appetite
