Fig, Apple, Bacon and Onion Glaze served on a bed of Warmed Brie

This is one of those quick and easy recipes that can be prepared ahead of time. I love these quick and easy type recipes. The best part is we all have the majority of these ingredients in our kitchens.

Fig, Apple, Bacon and Onion Glaze served on a bed of Warmed Brie
4 slices of Bacon chopped
1 Large onion Chopped about a cup
½ Granny Smith Apple Chopped
3 Tablespoons Dalmatia Fig Spread

Take onions and chop, next chop  bacon and apple. Take onions and chopped bacon and cook in a nonstick pan and cook until caramelizing has started; then add Apples.

Cook until all is golden brown like picture the add Fig Spread.
Now you have one of two choices place on Brie that has been microwaved for about 45 seconds or place in refrigerator and cool until ready to serve then place on brie and plate and Microwave for 70 seconds.

This can be served with fresh gluten free  toast with crusts removed or as I have here or with crackers.

Enjoy and Bon Appetite!

  1. I've always wanted to try Brie flavored somehow. This looks absolutely delicious! If and when I have a dinner party this will certainly be apart of the nibbles :)
